Welcome to
Unicorn's Website

I am a storyteller. Follow my story.

 I am Unicorn

As a magical creature, created by the Master,

I aim to bring about a better understanding of the world and our place in it

— a mission which has cast me into the world as a leader

of positive, giving kids and their parents and grandparents.

My story is about sharing life with others

understanding the many diversities

and respecting these diversities

I am here to help you.

My love for you is unconditional.

I am here...You are welcome to contact me at any time.

The Master sees my sadness and takes pity on me and my surroundings. He does something magical, but the Master is worried. For when this magic happens, hate as well as love is released. And it is this that the Master is concerned.

I hope, that in some way, I can reach the children of this world through the pages of this book and help them understand that our world is in danger. We must become responsible and be accountable for our actions.

There is no other way.

About the book

written and illustrated by

Linda McGowan

Unicorn and the Master’s Glory is a story of creation. Any one religious belief has been avoided, but the story does rely on the idea of a creator whom I call Master. It is a story of the earth and the things that live and move upon it. It’s about the Secret of Life that is carried in the body, the part that many people ignore. My hopes are to teach the young and the old to care for life, to see the potential in the beings of this world.

The story begins on a world that has no existence until the Master blows life into it and creates me. My name is Unicorn.

This world is not like our world today. It’s a colorless world with all the magic secrets of life glistening in my horn.

I am sad though. I have no one to share my life. I would really like to run with a herd! I move about this earth torn and indecisive because the Master has told me that the Secret of Life could bring about the destruction of earth.
